August 2010 Update:

Soyeon Lee:   This summer Soyeon Lee was the first place winner in the prestigious Naumberg Foundation Piano Competition in New York City, competing against 42 other pianists from around the world.  She is now teaching piano at Juilliard and currently is on tour in Europe.

Kevin Loucks:  Kevin Loucks is an assistant with the Emerson Quartet and heads the graduate Chamber Music Program at New York’s State University at Stony Brook where he also teaches piano.  This summer he performed at the Montreal Chamber Music Festival and the Banff Music Festival.

Biava Quartet:   The Biava Quartet has been named the Quartet in Residence at the Brevard Music Center and recently joined Astral Artists as the winner of its national auditions.  They record on the Naxos label.

Calder Quartet:   The Calder Quartet continues as the the Quartet in Residence at the Colburn Conservatory.  They have performed across the country, including on the Green Umbrella Series with the Los Angels Philharmonic.  They have received critical acclaim for their collaboration with contemporary composers and recently were awarded the ASCAP Award for Adventurous Programming.
